  • During the hardest of times finding this Family funeral made the Grieving process as easy as it could be. Cesia was so kind and did all the foot work that was needed for cremation to happen . Calling Hospital and Dr.to get a death certificate signed was not an easy task but thankful that Cesia made the calls so our family could grieve. Her patience and professionalism deserves 10 stars. She made it easy to contact her for me by email. Felt like she was part of the family she Called my mom "your Mother" and not just by her name. Not only was this funeral chapel affordable it was compassionate. Just want to say thank you!

The price they show on line is not what they charge. We paid 4,000 for a cremation with a viewing, which they misquoted and said we would only be allowed 30 min after the service.
Prior to the service Only 1 family member was allow to view my aunt the day before her service which was her sister who came from out of town, to ensure she looked Ok since her daughter would not go.
Her brother was told her absolutely could not see his sister prior to the service. Only one person could see her.
The day of the service, once we got to the place we were told we had to be there 30 min prior to the service. Her daughter was the only one who could make decisions and she was late. So we stood outside. It was hot we had older family members standing in the heat, we were not allow to come in until the actual time of the service. We were told we would have to pay an additional 400$ to have a viewing after the servie.
The funeral director started removing flowers from the casket area during the service stating they were not suppose to be there.
My aunt was just draped in a white cloth, we were never told they did not have clothes for her. Her daughter said she had left clothes at the funeral home. All around it was not good service. Only one female was attentive during t he planning of the service. Would never choose that place again EVER!

  • Elizabeth, the funeral director was very helpful, pleasant and professional. I feel very comfortable with our decision to leave our loved one in her hands.

  • Like most we hate to think about death & the effects it can leave on our loved ones after they pass. In 2014 after our father suffered a massive stroke & was hosptialized, we had to come together as a family to decided what type of services he would require after he passes. We didn't know where to start, didn't have a plan & knew we didn't want to make decisions with clouded judgement. We decided to ask our father what services he wanted & he chose cremation. We went online to surrounding mortuary's & came across Family Funeral & Cremation Center. When we initially went into the office we were met by their staff, who thoroughly explained all the options that were available to us. They went over in detail by paying a low monthly rate my father's services would be covered through a third party insurance company. The plan we chose gave us peace of mind in the event anything happened to our father. One of the best decisions we ever made, because we lost our father 2 years later in 2016. The day he passed we called The Center to notify them of our fathers passing. Immediately we were greated with sympathy & their condolences. They advised us to stop by their office when we were ready to go over the services in detail. The next day we met their office staff Elizabeth. She showed us so much compassion & held our hand every step of the way. She went over the insurance policy, what was covered & what costs we had remaining. She advised us the insurance instantly payed a large amount of the services & the small amount we payed out of pocket for the remaining costs would be reimbursed after the services. This was a huge relief to know we didn't have to come up with thousands of dollars. Elizabeth stated she would order the death certificates send one to the insurance company & contact the social security office. She went over all the pertinent paperwork that comes with the passing scuh as the releasing of the body. The next step was choosing the urn for my father, Elizabeth called the supplier to make sure it was available & showed us a picture of exactly what it would look like. This particular urn was a pine box with his color picture over a beautiful background photo. We had it engraved with his name, birth & death date. Since my father requested to have an open casket during the services, Elizabeth went over every detail from how did we want his facial hair to how would we like his hair styled. She also let us choose the date& time we wanted the services. She advised us she would give our immediate family private time with my father before any of the other guests arrived prior to the services. We were unsure of where to have the reception following the services, but when she gave us a tour of their facilities we were sold. We were impressed by their attention to detail. The area was quaint & quiet.Once inside there was seating for over 120 people, flat screen televisions on display for dvd memorial tribute, a children's room with Disney movies, a kitchenette, & a spacious outdoor patio to hold a reception. Elizabeth let us choose how we wanted the services ran from the length of time to the minister. She told us if there was anything else she could be of assistance of, to just let her know. Well being that there is three of us children we all had questions from time to time and each time we called her she was easily available to answer them for us. The day for the services went off without a hitch. She met us prior to us seeing our father and again assured us we would get that private time with him. During the services my father was visible to all his loved ones and at the conclusion of the reception we got to go back in to say our final goodbyes. Shortly after the services we received a call from Elizabeth stating our fathers ashes had arrived. We went as a family to pick them up, something we had already arranged during the initial visit. We were met by the same caring and compassion we initially got. The staff took away additional stress. We will be using them again for my mother when the time comes.

  • Exceptional customer service and support. When my father passed away, Family funeral home helped me with all the specifics and details of the paperwork and was compassionate and caring throughout. Reasonable prices, good location for my family and follow through with the final aspects of the funeral and final details. The cleanliness of the place was excellent and all my family and friends remarked on how beautiful the presentation was for my dad's funeral. Thank you Family Funeral services for all you have done.
